Musara Mix Festival
Musrara Mix Festival – May 20-22, 2014

Held each year in locations throughout the neighborhood of Musrara, the Musrara Mix Festival is a multidisciplinary, three day event featuring local and international artists and run by the Naggar School of Photography, Media, New Music, Visual Communication and Phototherapy in close collaboration with the residents in the neighborhood of Musrara.

Musrara Mix consists of a broad array of performances and artistic media, including music, video art, dance and performance art, alongside photography exhibitions, installations and full-day seminars. Events take place on stages and lawns throughout the neighborhood and at different indoor venues. The festival's atmosphere is unique, owing to its location in the historic and diverse neighborhood of Musrara, an area close to the Old City that is on the seam line between the eastern and western parts of Jerusalem and that is home to a mixed population of religious, ultra-Orthodox and secular Jews.

This year's festival, themed "Analog-Epilog" will feature artists from around the world, including Israel, Germany, the United States, Canada, Japan, Holland, Spain, Hungary, France, Russia and Poland. For more information, visit the Musrara Mix website.
