Sally and Scott Saunders hosted a concert in North London showcasing six young musicians (aged 14-19) from the Jerusalem Conservatory including unusually a 16-year-old Ethiopian violinist who comes from a very different musical tradition.

 

The wonderful concert, which was part of a European Tour to raise awareness of and funds for the inspiring work of the Conservatory to enhance the lives of young people from all backgrounds  - including Jewish, Palestinian, new immigrant, deprived - and with disabilities in Jerusalem through a love of music was attended by over 100 people.

 

JFUK trustee Peter Sheldon said: "It was truly an inspiration to welcome this wonderful group of promising young musicians who represent the Jerusalem Conservatory Hassadna's unique community. We were delighted to host so many supporters for such a special evening."
