Jerusalem Foundation Receives French Award

On Monday May 21, 2012, the Jerusalem Foundation received the "2012 Award of Hope" for its continuous work towards creating a better life for Jerusalem's communities. 

Nathalie Biderman, the Jerusalem Foundation's representative for France, attended the annual CRIF dinner in Marseille where the award was presented.  

Mrs. Michèle Teboul, the President of the CRIF Marseille Provence, honored the Foundation and its extensive record in improving the lives of those living in Jerusalem.   

During the ceremony, MICHA, a Jewish-Arab kindergarden for the hearing impaired, a Jerusalem Foundation project, was profiled during a moving film.  The project received warm applause by the 500 attendees at the prestigious event, attended by high ranking representatives of the national and local political institutions, including Mr Manuel Valls, the newly nominated French Minister of Internal Affairs.
