The Paley Arts Center was established in 1978 by the Jerusalem Foundation and the Israel Museum. In the past 30 years, Paley has become the preeminent cultural institution in east Jerusalem, providing artistic activities and enrichment for children, youth and adults for the city’s Arab sector. Continuing support for programming has been provided by the Paley Foundation of the USA. Photography and video equipment was purchased for the course with the assistance of the Weinbaum Family Foundation of Canada.
